Today I went for a walk along the canal path in Fredericksburg. As I usually do I brought along my smaller camera and made pictures of whatever interested me along the way. When I got back I looked over the photos to try to discern whether there was any consistency of patterns in the photos.
I made a lot of photos with leading lines. Many of them along the waterways. I particularly liked the Euglena that covered the water and gave it a green sheen.
The Euglena Grows very thick and chokes out the oxygen in the body of water making it deadly for animal life. It grows best in stagnant water particularly those with high nitrogen and phosphorus levels.
The B/W version of the photo is more interesting because it looks as though it is simply a walkway in front of you.
